Pros
-very flexible hours with no need to reschedule students -little supervision/oversight -3:1 ratio means there's a variety of topics at the same time to keep it interesting -pretty easy work once you get the flow and are familar with the material -workbooks are pretty good and answer keys have gotten great -paid for prepwork -little interaction with parents
Cons
-hours are not guaranteed and schedule is only confirmed the night before -students dont always have fixed teacher so less connection with students -no raises -no performance metrics or ways to evaluate yourself -dont follow up with students on what official score they got -no training for professional development
