Pros

I've worked at C2 for over 10 years and have had amazing opportunities to advance within the fast paced Human Resources Department. Many employees at C2 have worked here for 10+ years which is a testament to the culture the CEO has created. Due to the recent coronavirus outbreak, C2 has allowed employees to work from home and has provided the flexibility needed for those who have children to arrange childcare.

Cons

This problem is not unique to C2 but as more millennials are being hired it has been difficult to adjust their work ethic. Some of the new hires don't like to take direction and don't want to be a team player.

Pros

I spent 10 years at C2 and had the opportunity to grow into the HR Director role, leading the department and helping shape both strategy and culture. Over that time, I learned an incredible amount about HR operations in a fast-growing environment. Running the HR team gave me visibility into the full employee lifecycle the thing that stood out is that C2 is very much a performance-driven company. The expectations are high, and the pace is fast. From a leadership perspective, I could see that turnover came down to work ethic and accountability rather than lack of support. Employees who were willing to learn, take ownership, and put in the effort consistently did well and advanced. There’s a strong culture of promoting from within and giving people opportunities to step up. I saw many employees grow their careers during my time there, myself included. The leadership team is collaborative and genuinely cares about doing things the right way.

Cons

The environment isn’t for someone looking for a slow or low-pressure role. It requires adaptability and strong time management.

Pros

I interned at C2 last summer and the internship gave me exposure to both operational and creative sides of the business. I started in payroll and finance, which helped me understand how detailed and compliance-focused the company is. Later, I transitioned into marketing and even got to contribute ideas and input on the new website design. It was really rewarding to see suggestions I made actually implemented. I felt like part of the team, not just an observer. The experience gave me practical skills and confidence that helped me secure other positions afterward. C2 does a great job preparing interns for the real world and a lot of the things I learned last summer I am know using in my new role.

Cons

There’s a learning curve with systems and processes, especially in payroll/finance.
