Pros

Beautiful office space, free snacks and drinks, some genuinely nice people, and interesting industry

Cons

I would not recommend working here; not even for my worst enemy! Management is very unstable and unprofessional. I’ve never seen a CEO yell and curse at their employees. It’s very shocking and sad that some have just dealt with this inappropriate behavior for YEARS. Instead of recognizing and fixing problems, it’s covered up by catered lunches and random office events. There’s also favoritism, and it’s like a high school environment (lots of gossip; very pathetic) It’s unfortunate because the company’s mission is great, but if management does not change, it will be very difficult to retain employees and grow.

Pros

I interned at C2 last summer and the internship gave me exposure to both operational and creative sides of the business. I started in payroll and finance, which helped me understand how detailed and compliance-focused the company is. Later, I transitioned into marketing and even got to contribute ideas and input on the new website design. It was really rewarding to see suggestions I made actually implemented. I felt like part of the team, not just an observer. The experience gave me practical skills and confidence that helped me secure other positions afterward. C2 does a great job preparing interns for the real world and a lot of the things I learned last summer I am know using in my new role.

Cons

There’s a learning curve with systems and processes, especially in payroll/finance.

Pros

I came into C2 with a strong HR foundation, but I learned more in five years here than I expected. The environment is fast-paced and client-focused, so you quickly build problem-solving, compliance, and communication skills. There’s always room to grow and learn something new. No two days are the same. You’re trusted with real responsibility, which helps you develop quickly. The best part was the team, incredibly supportive, collaborative, and always willing to jump in to help. That made even the busiest days enjoyable.

Cons

Workloads can get heavy during peak times, so strong organization skills are a must.
