Pros

CACI, is primarily a government contracting firm and the working conditions can vary. For me I am on-site at a Government facility not at a company site so take my review with that in mind. Very flexible work/life balance, as long as you bill enough hours in your pay cycle (1-15 or the 16-30/31) and the client approves you can work from home (for unclassified work) and/or work a flex schedule (4 10 hour days, etc.) Most weeks are 40 of direct work Benefits are starndard except health care converage sucks As a free on-line unverisity Free access to Books 24x7 and for an IT profressional I save looks of money that way. My direct supervisor is a great guy.

Cons

The lack of direction and communication from Senior management who make the big bucks is shocking. With the recent budget showdowns in Washington, I had no idea sometimes if my project was funded and if I should up for work. Hearing whether to show up for work from the newpaper is ridiculous. A little guidance would be great. Even a BS "we feel your anxiety" note would be nice. The Healthcare benefits are aweful and expensive. Seems like there are 2 classes of employees those on government site and those at CACi sites and us at the client site don't get the support in the field. And we are the ones interfacing with the customer and billing we are the face of CACI some some guy at HQ. Way too many levels of management. I swear there are more VPs at CACI then a bank.

Pros

There are various contracts held by the company.

Cons

Flexible Time Off (FTO) policy is not as generous as it seems. I am often unable to get clear guidance on what is an acceptable amount of time to request, whether or not FTO that needs to be used for client holidays is considered when determining acceptable levels of time off, etc.
