Pros
For deployed workers the pay is competitive. My direct manager is pretty good and she works very hard trying to juggle so many chainsaws. When at the customer site, coworkers are pretty good to go and CACI has a good rep with the client.
Cons
There are waaaay too many layers of management. My direct supervisor is great. She is knowledgeable and hard working and yet we keep hiring these mid level idiots that have no clue about the mission at the client side and no clue about the products we develop and field. They come in and try to use their MBA nonsense to employ processes that turn into self licking ice cream cones. Every time we get a new layer of management some MBA retard wants us to generate some new kind of Weekly Activity Report. Then that report gets compiled into a new report. So the original report is due on Friday to report the week but because of all the layers of input and review each part of the management chain requires you to beat a deadline. Therefore the stupid report becomes due on Wed. It's obvious the ranks swelled with the good times but in this era of cost cutting you need to be aware of the 80/20 rule. If you don't know what that is, you are also part of the problem...
