Never had a company who penny pinch as much as this company. If you enjoy pay raise of 1 to 2% a year and still want to come and work here, please get the higher salary when you join, because it won't increase if you index to inflation. Let see, they got rid of coffee, company wide holiday party, on-site daycare and then shrank 8x8 cube to 6x6 cube (I am waiting to see if they'll make it 2x2 and have everyone stand and work). We have hard time attracting good candidates and people we end up hiring end up unable to do their job competently and others have to bear their burden. Smart people have left or planning to leave. Recently CEO complained people think they are worth more than they actually are rather than saying people are worth more than what they can pay... hate to work for a boss who thinks little of us.
