Pros

- Good opportunities while the contracts last -You can meet some good people but they always eventually leave after they understand the business model and their value in the market.

Cons

-Don't expect any pay rises or bonuses even after gaining certifications. -Management will force you out when the business contract ends, so it might make more sense to be a contractor instead of being short changed as a permanent employee for 6 months. -Head Office can be very anti-social and demoralising if there is no work -Business will expect you to find contract opportunities even though they have a sales team that are very poor. -You may be expected to travel to destinations miles away from home and saying 'No' is not an option as it can lead to you be putting on a redundancy short list

Pros

The "unlimited" FTO is the leader of the pros. Then the leadership has been mostly great and accommodating in allowing you to take time off. There are also plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. There is also the work. Its is very interesting work for specific customers and seeing your part get implemented into a larger project has been rewarding. The team is also great. Everyone is friendly and genuinely cares.

Cons

The big Con like many project oriented Gov contractors is that "everything" becomes priority and it can be difficult to stay on track as well as not get in the way of other teams.
