Pros
- Flexible work schedule - Easy location to get too - Employees genuinely care and want to do a good job - good place to get experience
Cons
-Pay is abismal at the SSC. It's not even market comparable. This is the philosophy of the SVP of the SSC. Intentionally paying below market knowing that the employee will leave in 2-3 once they gain experience and understand that they can get paid more. You'll never have long term employees at that rate. -Upper management is awful. They have time and time again put "culture" over people during covid. We have had to make decisions on our family or CACI. For what? There is no culture at the SSC. It's bleak and sad. Zero leadership. Most (not all) of the managers sit in their office. No culture building or comrodery whatsoever. - Zero development. They will say that there is but there is no plan nothing. I've asked to do something different for months. I've not been told either way what that looks like. If I'm not a good fit for the role fine. But I deserve and answer and I deserve to know where I'm lacking in my job duties so I know how to improve. You're never told anything. - They run off good management. My supervisor just left. He was great and you could tell he did everything he could for us. But you could tell his leadership was draining on him and get got very little support.
