Pros

- Everyone is very nice and welcoming - They encourage you to ask questions and don't make you feel bad for not knowing something - The environment/culture is relaxed most of the time - You start getting benefits and earning PTO as soon as you start (earn 6 hours every two weeks, 12 hours a month) - Everyone is very understanding if you need time off for any reason - The workload can vary from person to person, but the managers are always willing to talk about it if it is too much - Flex schedule, so as long as you work your hours, they don't care too much when you do it - The technology that they supply their employees with is up to date, so the speed and functionality of the computers are rarely cause for frustration

Cons

- "Hurry up and wait!" is basically the motto for the government and it leaks onto contractors as well - Sometimes there is a lack of communication on what needs to be done/why things are done the way they are, so don't be afraid to ask questions if you're unsure of something

Pros

There are various contracts held by the company.

Cons

Flexible Time Off (FTO) policy is not as generous as it seems. I am often unable to get clear guidance on what is an acceptable amount of time to request, whether or not FTO that needs to be used for client holidays is considered when determining acceptable levels of time off, etc.
