Pros

You learn as you go about photography, and you’re able to connect with your coworkers, include traveling to different areas of GA, that you thought would never visit. Fun environment if you’re with the right people. Very chill job that demands a lot. Mileage is reimbursed!! Think about it like tips , it goes along way. Their clock in method is pretty unique, since you clock in on your phone. Management are okay. I’ve seen worse but they’re definitely better. Communication is great when it comes to speaking with upper management Brandon. He’s very caring and funny. And understands your situations. Honesty is the best policy.

Cons

Favoritism, lack of respect for seniority- you can be working there for years but someone who just started and you trained yourself would make the same amount as you are. Dot trust everyone, even thou they may seem cool. Observe their actions and how they treat others and how they work outside. Hours are bizarre , at first you’ll work between 10-20 hours your first couple of weeks but then BOOM 30-50 hours. You have no time to hang out with your friends unless it’s the friends from work. Plus ..you have to use your car to travel. I had put over 80,000 miles on my car since I started 2 years ago. The parents and students are a pain when it comes to entitlement, if you’re not mentally ready to get disrespected by them 40% of the time. This is not the job for you. Especially if you have a bad temper. Requires a lot of patience. You have to wear BLACK. Yup, even in the HOT BURNING sun. The uniform is all Black. A lot of labor, having to pack and unpack the equipment and then setting up, if you can’t lift more than 20lbs, don’t apply. Acrylic nails will BREAK. If you live having your nails done, there’s no point because in less than 2 weeks you will ruin them or even break them. Some photographers are in all over their head and think they’re the BEST, which in reality they’re not. They’re good. But not THE BEST. Like I said (a lot of favoritism) it boosts their egos up. Some photographers will act like they know it all, or even over step you because like I said , they believe they’re that golden star. BEING HUMBLE takes you far. Remember that. EARY MORNING SHIFTS , if you don’t like waking up at 2-3am, don’t apply. Scheduling like I said can be bizarre, but that’s mainly because Madison schedules everyone. You’ll have a coworker who has 50+ hours while you’ll probably have 25. Sometimes she’ll make last min changes between 12am-1:30am and have you look crazy when you’re coming in late to work. Very annoying.

Pros

Great stepping stone to something better.

Cons

CADY appears to be led by individuals who lack a clear understanding of how to effectively run a business. The company promotes a “welcoming” culture, but in practice, it often feels performative and rooted in outdated or uncomfortable approaches. The environment within the Innovation Center is consistently tense. Teams frequently experience internal friction, and HR maintains a highly visible presence that can feel more like surveillance than support. In October 2025, Josh Cady abruptly eliminated the work-from-home policy with no transition period. This decision left many employees scrambling to adjust, particularly those who relied on remote flexibility for childcare and other responsibilities. The PTO policy is notably limited for a company of this size, and the absence of dedicated sick days only adds to employee strain. Removing remote work mid-year, while offering minimal time off, reflects a lack of consideration for employee well-being. Daily interactions can also feel forced. For example, employees are greeted each morning by HR in a way that often comes across as insincere rather than welcoming. Overall, CADY feels disorganized, undercompensates its employees, and provides minimal benefits, contributing to a challenging and unsupportive work environment.
