Pros

I don’t want to have to give CAI 2 stars, but until some things are changed I feel like I have to - Remote work is nice for those who need it -Training is iffy at best, but I am considering that a pro for me because it’s helped me be more hungry for knowledge in the field and educate myself more -there is opportunity for growth , you just have to be passionate about it and work for it , too many people think it’s handed to you in a silver platter -my manager has very open communication and a good sense of empathy

Cons

Now , while I do really enjoy the pros of working for CAI, these downsides just weigh too much on my thoughts to rate it any higher than 2 stars -PAY IS A LITTLE LOWER, for a lot of the accounts that you are contracted to, there is many situations where you have to go above and beyond the scope of what your being compensated for, on a daily base I do things for my primary account that is the work of system administrators and such, but my pay does not reflect the extra effort I put in to satisfy the client -WHERE IS THE PTO / SICK DAYS / PAID HOLIDAYS????? For a company that seems to really pride itself on how in tune they are with their employees and how with how much they say employee satisfaction is at a crazy high, I quite literally CANNOT BELIEVE there is absolutely ZERO of the mentioned benefits available to their service desk employees even after more than a years worth of time spent with the company!!!! When I tell my friends and fellow peers that my job has 0 pto and then describe what I’m doing for them , there jaws hit the ground harder than will smith smacking Chris rock. CAI C SUITE LEADERSHIP AND HR WAKE THE F@$K UP!!! those benefits should be provided in some capacity after time is spend with the company, stop calling yourself “a company with a human connection to its employees” without providing A SINGLE ONE OF THOSE BENEFITS HOLY -raise system, I don’t even have to spend much time on this one, once a year???? With no regard to performance???? Alright lol -workload variation , let me explain this one , when you have multiple contracted accounts thrown on you without them evening asking if your ok with it , and you now have to have simple to extremely advanced knowledge of multiple companies IT structures in your head all for the sake of making sure your coverages are met even though the systems in place at these companies are never similar enough to make it worth not even getting a raise whenever you have this whole crazy new workload thrown in your face, lol wtf the more I write those cons section out the more I think that maybe I don’t feel so bad about giving 2/5 stars

Pros

- Opportunity to work on interesting, high-impact projects. - Flexible work environment that supports work/life balance. - Many talented and knowledgeable colleagues across the organization.

Cons

- Leadership dynamics can feel misaligned, particularly when less experienced teams are driving decisions that impact more tenured professionals. - Career growth feels unclear and, at times, unattainable without the "right" visibility or relationships. - Cross-functional friction is common, and navigating disagreement does not always feel supported or safe. - Compensation and advancement do not consistently reflect market expectations or individual contributions. - Organizational priorities can feel disconnected from the day-to-day experience of employees.
