Pros

Pay and benefits are very good for the area. Nice college atmosphere. I like my department and coworkers a lot. Good opportunity to move around once you get a job here.

Cons

Tough competition for jobs. As with any employer, different departments and managers are better than others. Have to pay for parking, if you drive to work. Parking is tight in certain parts of campus.

Pros

At the ASI Children's center I learned the fundamentals of how to care and relate to children, got excellent training with head teachers (some were nicer than others), and moved my way up to other positions in the company.

Cons

Just like you do with friends, some of the head teachers you have chemistry with and others you don't. The ones you don't make the job feel more difficult. Pay was okay for me then with lower costs and inflation but now I am guessing it won't be enough for the current economic times.
