Pros

-Awesome benefits -Great skills advancement opportunities -Extremely flexible hours/vacation time -Decent pay scale -Fairly relaxed working environment -Beautiful location to settle

Cons

-Work feels like more of a political battle than actual progression -VERY non-flat hierarchy; manager to worker ratio is fairly high -Don't expect to move up fast; the people in management positions have been and will be in them for quite a long time. -You are forced into unionization; if this is not something you can agree with, you should look elsewhere for a job.

Pros

At the ASI Children's center I learned the fundamentals of how to care and relate to children, got excellent training with head teachers (some were nicer than others), and moved my way up to other positions in the company.

Cons

Just like you do with friends, some of the head teachers you have chemistry with and others you don't. The ones you don't make the job feel more difficult. Pay was okay for me then with lower costs and inflation but now I am guessing it won't be enough for the current economic times.
