Top-down management with shaky ethical practices - Counselor CAL State LA Employee Review

Terrible reputation of the management and administration well-earned. The president runs things with a "my way or the highway" mentality, and it becomes painfully clear that this trickles down in a way that creates an unsettled feeling amongst many departments. Decisions are made by managers not academics, faculty and staff are very disempowered. Complaints or criticisms of the management result in retribution. Worst place I've ever worked.
