Pros

Good short-term place to work.

Cons

People were a commodity to senior management. They talked about work-life balance, but they cut pay and bonuses three years in a row. Turnover was high. The CEO and VPs always set unrealistic expectations and failed to meet them. The ESOP benefit is good if you work there 5 or more years. Otherwise it is worthless. Many people leave after 3 or 4 years before being fully vested, especially when a contract ends. The share value did not increase much the last few years. The company seems to reorganize every year. They cut good mid to upper management people multiple times while I worked there just so they could cut costs to make up for not meeting performance projections. The CEO and our VP always got nervous at the middle of the year and you could feel the pressure they were putting on directors and project managers to bring in more money and new contracts. It was brutal. A lot of time and money were wasted on creating the perception of caring about employees rather then poviding substance. They gave us unlimited PTO, but everyone knew they were counting time off so they took less time away from work. The CEO canceled the annual picnic and the holiday party in 2020 and 2021 because of COVID, which really wasn't necessary. I think it was just another way to cut costs. Turnover was high, especially with more senior people and very junior employees. Most middle level people tried to stay long enough to get past that 5th year to lock in the ESOP. They need to clean house with senior leadership, create better middle management opportunities, and have a real plan for the future. I have serious doubts about the stability of the company under the current CEO and the VP I worked under, so I decided to leave before things fell apart.
