Pros
*Great direct in office management and engineering team *You get to assist in managing beautiful class A office buildings with fantastic building amenities. *You have the ability to work from home on occasion. *You are able to work independently without being watched. *The company offers a generous PTO policy and full benefits with add-ons. *Many paid holidays *Flexibility for working parents who may need to leave on short notice.
Cons
*Accounting department has the highest turn around rate I've ever seen. Half of the accountants haven't got a clue what they're doing. *You may have to endure bullying by your clients and building owners. Sr. management will not stop this as these customers bring in tons of revenue for CBRE, and they don't want to lose them, so you will have to put up with it. *Rewards for doing well include more properties and responsibilities being added to your portfolio, but rarely will include a pay raise. *Most property managers are so overworked, they do not have the time to teach you new things that could help you advance in the company. This is not the fault of the property managers - most of them are fantastic! The fault lies with Sr. Management. *As a result of being overworked, managers will provide you with support documents and you will be expected to review those documents and figure it out on your own. *Work environment can be extremely stressful and hectic.
