Pros

It's a paycheck and the account/client you are assigned to can be pleasant to work with.

Cons

People who work in the GWS org are basically commodities that are used to charge clients high fees for the work you do. For example, CBRE might charge the client $200,000/year for the work provided to them. CBRE will then take $120,000 in fees and the GWS employee gets $80,000. On top of this, you are expected to do whatever they client wants - as long as it's legal even though it is out of scope and definitely worth more pay.

Pros

Best software apps like Adobe Suite plus everyone in marketing has Macs. Good benefits including a generous PTO available on Day 1 and is carried over for whatever hours you don't use in a year. You get more PTO after 5, 10, 15, 20 years of service.

Cons

There are no defined advancement opportunities for designers after the Senior Designer role. Compensation tends to fall below market rates, even though the company expects strong technical proficiency and exceptional creative performance.
