Pros

- Worked as a contractor at a high-tech company. It was nice that contractors like myself were able to avail the free food, gym...etc., - The company values their mission and vision and greatly promotes it whenever they can. - They do offer job training for anyone looking to work elsewhere in the company or another account. - If you get into a great department or group, they will try to keep you and if the management sees that you have potential to grow, they will guide your career and offer mentorship. - If you want to apply in another group, account or stay in the corporate, you can apply without any issues with the manager (only if the manager likes you)

Cons

- At the beginning of my career with this company, there were some issues with lack of training and management guidance. The management tried their best but some seemed to not care about the employees, so it was like a revolving door. - Pay rate is low and sometimes not within the market value. - Even if you don't have the experience for any job but the management likes you, 1) they will create a job specifically for you and may even promote you. Too many umbrellas and regular employees sometimes do not get the annual raise they deserve because of this. 2) They will keep promoting someone even if they've only been in the role for 6 months (or less than a year), then you'll see the same person getting a promotion again within the same year. Again, this goes to show that if they like you, the management will find ways. - Annual raise - they only take into account the cost of living. It does not matter how much work you have put in the last year. So I suggest only working at a minimum. - There is no sick leave. You will have to use your PTO for this. - Medical benefits are expensive if you have a family (I guess this is a common issue for all). It seems like you are not pocketing any $$$ after all the taxes and benefits.

Pros

Remote work, yeatly raise, holiday pay

Cons

They micromanage. I realize we're remote but pretty much everything they do makes you feel like someone is watching you. They always ask if you have questions but my sup gaslights and blows me off. They try extremely hard to penalize you but mgmt can say or do anything they want and then when you bring it up they say 'no that didn't happen' or 'no we didn't say that.' Also as a csr we have rude clients daily with no self control or phone manners but we are expected to be perfect.
