Once you've been there for a year or so and prove you're a good employee, you will probably take on an extraordinary amount of work and only be offered a raise or promotion once a year. Good luck trying to advocate for yourself any other time because if it's not October during the review period, it's not happening.
If you do get a promotion, it takes a minimum of three months for you to start transitioning to that role. When they do finally let you transition, you'll be doing both jobs with no end in sight until they can hire someone -who will probably be internal. And they will probably tell you you have to wait longer because that person now also has to transition.
There are no specific guidelines to getting a promotion. You will probably be told time and time again that "it takes time," or, "we don't promote people with one year of experience," and then watch other people who have precisely that get promoted.
Most of the management team could not explain to you what their employees are doing on a daily basis.
Extremely clique-oriented. If you're in the right crowd with the executives, you'll be good!

Being given special projects with no direction and expecting them to be done same day without the person asking knowing what's on your plate. And when you deliver the project, you'll be asked to redo the entire thing because it's not what they had in mind. Good thing you didn't have anything else to do.
