Pros
Remote work with relatively low stress.
Cons
The company has started outsourcing workers from India, pays lower than average, does not offer any sort of cost of living adjustments, and gives yearly 2% raises regardless of performance. Management plays the nice guy with their hands tied, pretending your better raise/promotion is just around the corner, but continually moves the dangling carrot further and further away. Upper management barely know the remote workers even exist, you are forgotten. Work is spotty, and if there's no work for you to do, better have some vacation time saved up, because you're using it to cover the lost time due to your companies failings
