Pros

CCMSI is a great place to work when it comes to fellow adjusters and clients. The system they utilize is user friendly as I received minimal training when I began and a lot of what I have learned was self taught.

Cons

Since I began there was a staff turnover and shortage up until the last two months. Workload was more taxing then it should have been at times handling over 140+ claims but in this industry, with client expectations, and overall the claims best practices expectations. We were told we would be getting yearly bonuses and that they aren't based off performance but are a incentive for being an employee but there has been no indication in the 1.5 years I have now been with the company of any bonus being given.

Thank you for your review, merit increases happen every year at performance evaluation time and it can very much be based on your performance through the year and goes into effect in the Fall. We offer training via the LMS including CCMSI created courses at anytime, we also have a corporate trainer available that you can reach out to for training opportunities. We also do manager/supervisor trainings when possible each year where many are brought together centrally to do trainings in person.

- The remote work option is a plus (If your supervisor decides to let you). - My supervisor is great now, very knowledgeable & helps greatly when it comes to learning the actual job (it is unfortunate that this is not always the case, really hit or miss with supervisors). - Reasonable amount of time off (if you can get it approved and provide good enough explanation of why you need time off).

Cons

- Definitely have some PTSD from the first office location that I worked at due to the micromanagement & constant toxicity from that particular supervisor - Definitely some "Rules are for thee, not for me" type management. - It's nice that benefits are offered, however, the medical benefits refuse to cover almost anything. Considering just getting independent medical insurance at this point.
