Pros

Depending on your starting point and the team you work with, it can start out to be a positive environment. However, don't be fooled lack of adequate training and competitive compensation are significant concerns.

Cons

There is no real opportunity for timely advancement, and the lack of proper training combined with extremely low pay makes the job unsustainable. Employees are regularly expected to work 10+ hour days, including weekends, leaving little to no time for family or personal life. The company pushes the idea of work-life balance, but in reality, it’s all work with no regard for balance. Supervisors who have been in their roles for years show little concern for employee well-being. They demand that staff stay on top of excessive workloads even on days off or while out sick. In one case, an adjuster had to take medical leave due to PTSD caused by a supervisor’s constant pressure, only to be placed on a PIP for falling behind. I was also placed on a PIP, pressured to meet unrealistic metrics with little to no support. This kind of environment is toxic, unsupportive, and unsustainable. It punishes employees for burning out under impossible expectations and offers no real path for growth or relief.

Pros

- The remote work option is a plus (If your supervisor decides to let you). - My supervisor is great now, very knowledgeable & helps greatly when it comes to learning the actual job (it is unfortunate that this is not always the case, really hit or miss with supervisors). - Reasonable amount of time off (if you can get it approved and provide good enough explanation of why you need time off).

Cons

- Definitely have some PTSD from the first office location that I worked at due to the micromanagement & constant toxicity from that particular supervisor - Definitely some "Rules are for thee, not for me" type management. - It's nice that benefits are offered, however, the medical benefits refuse to cover almost anything. Considering just getting independent medical insurance at this point.
