Inconsistency with group organization - one engineering group will be always on time with deadlines and very organized in general, while another will be terrible with time management and quality of work - both groups get treated the same. Pay is not based on quality of work, pay is only based on position title. Benefits could be better - healthcare is nearly the same price as it would be on a private non-employer policy. Paid time off is terrible the first year. If the contract ends, you'll get laid off.
