Pros
If you are a fresh college grad looking for work, this company prefers to hire those without experience.
Cons
Poor communication skills and a lack of honesty. Worked on-site as a PSA for a Fortune 100 company, and my boss only came to the site twice in 2 years despite "planning to stop by" over 6 times. Provided no support for my team which grossed ~$2 million/year for the company. CDI lost the contract for the job, and they did not tell the employees. A manager from the client asked the entire team to turn in their computers and clean out their desks. I was not contacted by my boss until Wednesday of the following week. We were told we would receive one week's salary while they looked for additional work, but no one was given that pay and work was not found. CDI is a lousy company, and word on the street is that they are losing contracts and management is jumping ship to other companies. I wish I would have looked more into the company's overall stability more before accepting the position. Other noteworthy facts: Did not evaluate employees for pay raises yearly, provided a terrible benefits package ($800/month for a family insurance plan.), did not provide tuition assistance (I asked during the interview, but when I contacted HR, they said it was not available.), and did not provide training which was promised and mandated by the client. Bottom Line: They provide no service. They get a contract, hire new college grads, pay them $25/hr, charge $60/hr to the client, and rake the margin. They are a rake.
