Pros

Able to take time off when necessary unpaid

Cons

People that work with CDs are treated like animals or prisoners or army people we cannot do anything we are told just to listen to directions and not ask any questions just do as told. Not to talk disrespectfully. I was scolded today because I was wearing my vest unzipped with my apron on and I was told you have to zip up your vest and put your apron over it before you are able to clock in. Talk down to like I was a child I try to explain that I was warm and I was wearing the vest because I know where I'm going I will be cold so I will zip it up before I start my demo and also I'm not able to put it on my chair or in my table or anywhere so I have to keep it on. After that I went to take my card out on the floor and I was cold back into the office and told I must not speak back and she did not like my tone of voice I am not to speak that way I'm not to ask any questions when I'm told to do something I just have to do it. What kind of place is this to work if I wasn't 72 years old and not interested in looking for another job I would leave in a in a second. When I tell them to fire me they tell me I have to quit haha I wonder why. Other things are yes the equipment is horrible unsafe the gloves you can't even you can't even prepare the food with the gloves it's horrible what else no water bottles no bathroom breaks I can go on and on not a great place to work.

Pros

The job is simple, and you're doing something new every shift. Getting to talk to people is great and if you like cooking, some demos require it.

Cons

Can be tedious and mind numbing. Standing in one spot for 5- 6 hours taking about a product and giving out samples isn't for everyone. Tough on the feet, so good shoes are a must.
