Pros

I started 3 mo. Ago. My manager and supervisors are very helpful and nice. The hours are good and Costco food products are overall very good and easy to represent. I love interacting with people so this is a good job for me .However…see the cons…

Cons

Our manager has managers who are nothing more ( in my eyes) than crackers with whips they also send out in store spy’s to watch us and ask misleading questions , they want nothing more than to catch us in a weak moment to cut our hours or dismiss us. I guess it’s how they justify THEIR jobs. It’s very difficult to follow a home budget when hours are randomly cut back and you can’t rely on a paycheck. I’m sure that’s why most employees are retired. This is the job you take if you don’t rely on that paycheck.

Pros

independent work, flexible, easy to get the hang of, quick hiring process.

Cons

non fixed schedule, often call outs, management isn't the fastest but they try, standing for 4-6 hours a day.

Pros

The job is simple, and you're doing something new every shift. Getting to talk to people is great and if you like cooking, some demos require it.

Cons

Can be tedious and mind numbing. Standing in one spot for 5- 6 hours taking about a product and giving out samples isn't for everyone. Tough on the feet, so good shoes are a must.
