Pros
Coworkers are great. Very easy to get along with and always willing to help you out. Job itself wasn't that bad it's mostly management and how the place is run that makes it bad. Fixed full time shifts
Cons
Very bad management. They feel unapproachable and have a very condescending attitude and expect you to know everything basically from day one and do not provide much help. Usually tell you to just read the build document or moan at you for not knowing. There is pretty much no training. They just tell you to read the build documents and you have to figure the software and all the many procedures out yourself. There are so many procedures in place to follow that you usually only find out about when you get moaned at for not doing them as you didn't know they existed because they didn't tell you anything. Break times start from your laptop. You then have to walk to and go through security then go to the break room. So the 30min break is more like 25. Also you have to log in to clock in which can take up to 10mins at times and they class on time as being logged in, despite you being in the building early. They have an error log which they use to record absolutely everything you do wrong even if it's irrelevant or extremely minor. You don't find out they have logged these issues until your review so you can't really contest them. An example of this is I was working with someone on an order, we had problem after problem after problem so it took us a few hours to get rolling. Manager came along and asked how far we got, we explained all the issues we had but he didn't listen no matter how much we explained it and logged it as a productivity error despite it being out of our control. You have to stand up all shift and bend downwards to look at laptop screens which can really hurt your neck and back. They do not listen if you state these issues and tell you to deal with it. If you're actually lucky enough to get a work space where they let you sit down, it has to be on a stool. If you get a chair with back support they will come along and remove it for no reason. Also the pay is awful - just barely above minimum wage yet they have unreasonable expectations for the wage whilst constantly going on about the company's goal to make however many billions. Basically no job progression here.
