CDW is a great place to start out in technology sales. You learn a lot and the training is very well done.
Cons
The base salary ($25k, non-negotiable) will pretty much ensure you stay living with your parents for a lot longer than you would like. The other competitive VAR's in this area will pay you a better base and you'll be afforded the same opportunities.

CDW recently announced an increase to the base pay. Account Managers are still eligible for unlimited commission, too.
You have the ability to sell full stack solutions, services and software.

I have worked at CDW for 10yrs and every single year they have changed the comp plan in a way that makes it harder for sellers to make money (constantly moving the goal post). Prior to 2020 CDW had little to no lay offs now it is happening every six months. They say the reasons is to reduce cost and improve efficiencies BUT as a company our sales continue to grow along with the C-levels pockets.
