Pros

Salary is competitive for area. The 401(k) match percentage is higher than average for area.

Cons

The people are two faced. They will say one thing to your face and then say something else to others. With any downturn in the price of nitrogen fertilizer, they let people go from the Company. People they let go have been with the Company 20+ years, which is why senior management is also two faced. Senior management loves to talk about how they care about the people, but it's all talk and no actions. There actions show their true nature and it's we don't care about you. There is very little advancement opportunities. So if you are a younger professional, do not expect to advance your career at this Company. Unless this is your only employment opportunity, I highly recommend not working here.

Free snacks and coffee Anonymous Employee Feedback I joined the company with a positive impression and a strong desire to contribute. Over time, however, my perception of the organization has changed significantly due to my experience with leadership and workplace culture. My primary concern is the lack of support from management. Employees need coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to succeed, especially when learning new processes or taking on additional responsibilities. Instead, I have often felt unsupported and left to navigate challenges on my own. There is also a perception of inconsistent treatment among employees. This has created concerns about fairness and has negatively impacted morale and trust within the team. When employees believe expectations are applied differently depending on the individual, it becomes difficult to remain motivated and engaged. Communication from leadership has not always been clear or constructive. Employees perform best when expectations are transparent and feedback is delivered in a way that promotes growth. Unfortunately, my experience has often left me feeling discouraged rather than supported. While the company offers opportunities and has many dedicated employees, leadership and culture have had a significant impact on my overall experience. I believe improvements in employee support, communication, accountability, and consistency would help create a more positive and productive work environment. This feedback is shared in the hope that it will encourage reflection and positive change for current and future employees.
