Pros
Good pay Good bonuses Benefits are decent but not great
Cons
Up until the Fall of 2017, this was a great place to work, but not since then. Morale is the lowest I've seen. If you come to work here: 1) You will at some point be intimidated, threatened or bullied by THE manager. When it happens to you and you say something, you will be made to feel like you are crazy or that you misunderstood. 2) You will encounter negativity on a daily basis. 3) You will be made to feel like your job is not secure. 4) You will be made to feel that no matter how good of a job that you do it's not good enough. 5) Your opinion will not count. 6) You will not be empowered to make decisions on your own. 7) You will be retaliated against if you call out certain people's bad behavior. 8) You will take survey after survey asking for your opinion on how to improve things at the site, but nothing will change. 9) You will be told that safety is priority #1, but when a plant is down, you may have to work in unsafe conditions. For instance, we were made to work during the winter storm in February 2021 to get the ammonia plant back up and running. We could hardly walk without slipping, much less work, but there we were out in that mess trying to work. 10) You will wonder on a daily basis whether the good pay and bonuses are worth the abuse you receive.
