Only pro I can honestly think of is it's a job and pays some money. They also help you with a moving bonus.

Cons

Long hours year round. Didn't even notice it was harvest until I saw the fresh grain because of all the hours I was used to working. Had other people at my same position in my area yet I was only one who had to work every weekend and pulled 10 hour days 6 days a week while they took off Fridays to golf with our boss and didn't work but a few weekends.

It's tough to hear strong negative feedback - especially from a former employee (because we have no opportunity to directly address the issue with you and - if possible - keep you as a part of our team). I will ensure that the region general manager for your region has the opportunity to review this. Long hours are a part of harvest season in many agriculture-based businesses. However, we don't expect that work would be assigned in ways that would cause this level of impact to one employee and have no effect on others in the same or comparable role. good 401k good health insurance

upper managers have no clue what anyone does they work 40 hours and 5 days a week and expect their employees to work six 10-14 hour days. & days a week during harvest. They think the occasional cookout compensates them for the work they do. Can't find reliable help anymore so they will just hire anyone. This is the CGB MidMiss group. It is all about the money. Do not care about employees. Will not let them hire any additional help even though it is needed. Upper management needs to get out and know their employees and what they do.
