Pros

Great compensation package (pay, bonus and benefits). A real opportunity for advancement and a lifelong career.

Cons

With a "decentralized" approach, comes unnecessary inner conflict and unfruitful competition. Sometimes (not always) close-minded to new ideas or concepts. Sometimes (not always) searches for the path of least resistance when a more technical and in-depth approach is required.

We sincerely appreciate your time in reviewing CGB and providing your own firsthand account. As you note, we do offer a great compensation and benefits package. We’ve worked hard to ensure we remain the top of the industry in that regard and most recently have won awards in respect to our retirement package. As a company, we are committed to achieving the most productive approach to both everyday business decisions and embracing new ideas. As you note, it’s important to keep an open mind and embrace a diverse workforce – we couldn’t agree more. Thank you again for your comments, noted and appreciated.

Pros

good 401k good health insurance

Cons

upper managers have no clue what anyone does they work 40 hours and 5 days a week and expect their employees to work six 10-14 hour days. & days a week during harvest. They think the occasional cookout compensates them for the work they do. Can't find reliable help anymore so they will just hire anyone. This is the CGB MidMiss group. It is all about the money. Do not care about employees. Will not let them hire any additional help even though it is needed. Upper management needs to get out and know their employees and what they do.
