Pros
The salaries are decent if you have been hired in the last 2 years. For some of the long term employees, not so much. There is plenty of variety of systems to work with, but today's specifications are entirely likely to change tomorrow, and no effort is expended to bring the remaining environment current,
Cons
Lack of standardization due to continually evolving processes. Promotions seem to occur more based upon the "buddy system" as opposed to merit. Work life balance is hit or miss depending on your project. I know some people that average 70+ hours every week, whereas I only average 45-50.
