For a large institution, the mission and vision of the company is forward thinking and innovative. The IT departments tend to be more lax than the traditional banking areas of the bank. The benefits are good, employee stock options are great, and job security is comforting. There are also many job opportunities within the company.
Cons
Given the size of the company, many of the pitfalls that affect large companies apply here; further, there are frequent re-orgs, resource turnover and rank/file system.
