Pros

Great pay and PTO if you can take it. Discount at shops owned by CIM such as Tartine, Johnnys, mizlala, etc.

Cons

Unorganized non-existent leadership with fractured teams. Turn over is high which puts a lot of pressure on remaining people to pick up the pieces. Leadership isn’t paying attention. About 25% of people I deal with day to day are interviewing elsewhere. I might just wait to see how the “downturn “ affects construction market.

Pros

Nice office environment, good amenities, supportive colleagues and solid benefits as well as opportunities to take on meaningful work and develop skills.

Cons

Management effectiveness is inconsistent and can create uneven workloads across teams. High performers often compensate for gaps in leadership capability and employees with strong technical knowledge tend to carry a heavier burden, leading to work/life balance challenges. There appears to be limited accountability in some areas and tenure can outweigh performance in retention decisions impacting team morale.
