Pros
Employee base. There are good people doing loooooong hours to try and meet the needs of the business. Base salary was competitive. Fair amount of PTO.
Cons
No problem solving, none. Mid/Sr management are completely clueless as to how to identify and correct root causes of failures. Zero consideration to work/life balance. Mid/Sr management spends the least time in the building. Out of 6 months, only ONE week was the schedule in the job description. Every mandatory day extra, literally, costs you money to come work for free. Sr management is COWARDLY. Will promise employees scheduled time off to their face and then mandate OT with less than 20 hours of notice...from home. Production standards are disastrously inaccurate. Don't be surprised if DSC lands in litigation for them. Rodents abound in a food warehouse. Equipment is always broken and they mandate more people to be in the building than they have working equipment available. Their customer is notoriously awful to service. OSHA would have a coronary if they saw the product stack failures that occur. Knee jerk reactions that cause more harm than good. Lastly, a gross ineptitude to self assess mid/senior managers' role in the problems that are driving a near 90% turnover rate. Don't be surprised if you work here that the information you are given is purely diplomatic and devoid of any legitimate substance. Just ask the new Operations Manager. You'll learn all you need to know about the prospects of your employment within 2 minutes. Can't get people to buy the nonsense if the statements coming out of your mouth have zero basis in reality. In short, this place is about to implode...Again.
