During my time reporting to Heidin in Learning & Development, I experienced a management style that was overly directive and closely controlled, with frequent oversight of tasks that limited autonomy. This made it challenging to work independently and affected morale for the team, as it created a more stressful and constrained work environment. I believe there is an opportunity for improvement in how autonomy and trust are balanced within the team structure. Communication was also abrupt and overly directive, which often contributed to a more stressful work environment.
