The office is nice and in a good location, firm is growing quickly
Cons
Firm is growing too quickly and in the wrong way. They continue to acquire smaller firms and never fully integrate them, leaving drastic disparities in quality and culture by office. It’s public accounting so it’s a lot of work, just as much work as your friends at bigger firms but without the name recognition, raises, bonuses, benefits, or exit opportunities. Raises are not good and bonuses are not awarded (they say that the bonus is “built in” to your salary). 401k match is very minimal. Avoid and go to a bigger firm, there are too many better options if you live in a large city.
