Pros

No pros to working here, you can do better literally anywhere else

Cons

* Toxic leadership - From the top down, my experience has been that anyone who has a role "managing" others is toxic. Lots of micromanaging, lots of bullying, no authentic culture of feedback. The crap rolls downhill here and the lowest ranking team members are just used and abused. * Not inclusive and unsafe for anyone with a disability - I had multiple requests for ADA accommodations that were ignored (all the way up to the Chief Culture Officer), and I saw co workers actively prevented from using their FMLA leaves * Bait and Switch with hours and duties - I was not told till over a month into the role that there is a requirement of a 45 hour work week, which is NOT common for my position. Additionally, they claim "unlimited" PTO, but you have to make up the hours elsewhere by year end so....no real time off. Most staff I encounter are working nights and weekends. Managers brag about long hours and lack of family time like it's a badge of honor. ZERO work life balance. *Backwards, outdated practices - They store sensitive client access info on basic, unprotected excel spreadsheets that 20+ people have access to. They refuse to step into the 21st century with tech. For such a huge firm, they use a lot of unsafe, risky IT practices, and they seem highly resistant to change. CLA could be set in 1963 and you wouldn't know the difference...if you are a junior employee, prepare to shut up and do as you are told, even if it's bad practice. You will have no voice, no support. They are not open to feedback or ideas at all. It is a classic, old school, backward, toxic company. All the money they spend on getting themselves on "Best Place to Work" lists and branding CLA as a "family" is a true waste of money. They absolutely do not walk the walk. After months of relentless bullying and ADA requests that were ignored, I attempted to take my own life due to harassment from my team leads. I later shared that experience with the C Suite and I was ignored. The bullying and harassment from my team leads continued.

Pros

Good thing national teams allow remote work opportunity because there's not enough space in the local offices anyway, but you might just end up working after hours more often than not.

Cons

No pay raises year after year which is an actual pay decrees when taking into account inflation, fake "flexible" PTO, required to work 45 hours a week without any overtime, raises, bonus, or any financial reward which actually matters. You have to do ridiculous workday feedbacks, and self review every quarter but it means nothing because they don't even consider the feed back you've received when laying off. It is your job to find work, and when there is't enough work for you it's your fault, not leadership's. You get promised new projects and they are always delayed for months at a time and many times nothing even comes out of it. Pretentious company that likes to call itself "family" - only red flags here.
