My experience at CLEAResult was mostly negative, while there are plenty of good, well intentioned people working for the company, the for-profit corporate infrastructure is ultimately chipping away at what makes energy efficiency important in the first place. A brief review of the current CEO's Twitter followings will give you some insight as to the social and political beliefs of the man at the helm of this operation. A few names you'll find are Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Jeb Bush, Mike Huckabee and Warren Buffett. A veritable array of people standing on the other side of some very important issues concerning climate change, global sustainability and energy efficiency. Some names you wont find are Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton, let alone Jill Stein. To me this posed some very big questions, like, is CLEAResult in it for the money or the message? I think the writing is on the wall. Which then brings me to question the non-profit acquisitions they've been collecting, who exactly is the beneficiary of such a transaction and at what cost?
