Pros

A lot of really skilled technical people work here doing interesting things. 40-hr weeks are the norm with work-from-home options for most tech workers. Decent salary and very good benefits.

Cons

Measures taken to reduce bureaucracy have led to more bureaucracy. There is always another process and yet another system to get simple things done.

Thanks for your review. We agree that we have some of the smartest people in the business working together to move our company forward. Our competitive total rewards program helps us attract this level of talent, and work-life balance is a big part of that. We appreciate your point on bureaucracy as well. It’s something we’re focused on continuing to address and improve.

Pros

- Friendly working environment. - Slow-paced and relaxed. - Opportunity to work on high-impact financial software. Quite useful if you want to get into a trading firm later on.

Cons

- Limited skill growth capability (tools are severely locked down, etc) - Work life balance can be shaky sometimes since systems fail after 5pm, weekend, etc. - Documentation is terribly organized. - Not enough focus on engineering culture. Overall probably not the best place to stick around if you like exploring new skills, building from the ground up, taking ownership etc.
