Pros

The general workforce is comprised of usually very hardworking people that care about their job and the people around them. Some of the management actually care about what they do and the people that work for them. The benefits are spectacular.

Cons

The mighty bottom dollar speaks volumes. Raises are few and far between. In some instances, people didn't get a raise in over 5 years of service. It's common for new talent to be brought in to replace old, higher paid talent. If you don't know either management or sr. level executives, you are simply a line item on the budget. You can share your ideas and complaints with any managers up to the CEO but he's so detached from the day to day affairs, your words end up being useless. There has been a gargantuan amount of turnaround at any position other than President and SVP. Sr. level top quality people come in and soon leave after realizing the toxic environment, lack of effective leadership, and overall not giving a rip about the people doing the actual work of the company. Nepotism runs rampant and has destroyed the ability for the right person to use their talents at the right position. The CEO can buy the building and fund lavish trips for big producers, but to hell with cost of living raises for people trying to feed their families and live comfortably. SVP has two houses, 2 vehicles over 100K, but they don't support realistic pay and bonuses for merit or for working as hard as many many people do. Dishonesty. Lack of integrity.

Pros

I have spent more than 3 decades in the mortgage industry, CMG is definitely in the top 3 mortgage companies I've worked for. Ops is lightning quick, compensation is solid, the product variety is the best I've seen including amazing proprietary programs, benefits are reasonable, there really isn't anything more I could ask for. Every aspect is at least good, if not world class!

Cons

None I can think of

Pros

There are a ton of opportunities to innovate and build industry-changing technologies. We have a great product team and a great engineering team, so the possibilities for my team and me are endless. We're also serious about using AI across product management, BSA work, QA, and engineering. It's part of our culture, and the transformation is being led directly by our technology leaders, which shows they're hands-on and lead by example. You won't find many places where a top leader is this invested in transformation and in the details, and that's both encouraging and energizing for our team. On the business side, there's a lot of flexibility and support for our sales and fulfillment team members. Ideas are heard and implemented no matter who they come from. Our leadership team is humble, and they genuinely care about and understand their business. They've been very welcoming and have taken the time to help me understand their business needs so I can deliver the right solutions. CMG believes in top-notch customer service and in offering a comprehensive suite of products that most other companies don't have. The culture here is great and genuine, and I'm very glad I made the choice to join CMG.

Cons

Opportunity to standardize process and create an enterprise fulfillment strategy, currently in the works and planned for the immediate future.
