Pros
A lot of great people you will meet and work with but it ends there.
Cons
If you are not in sales or management, pay has a chance to be significantly below market rate, there is no standard CMG bases their pay from, also many employees go years without seeing a raise. No bonuses are also a downside, so there is no incentive for goals, meeting monthly goals for a year won't get you another dollar, but maybe a free lunch! Mainly people are overworked and under compensated. There generally is no repercussion or held responsibility held to employees, bad and sloppy work is continual and shows no sign of slowing. Nepotism reigns king here, if you are not in their little circle, it's hard to move around and meet your career goals. They monitor and track all instant messages and are not afraid to punish on what they see. Any break over 10 minutes is subject for write up. Management will not back you up and stab you in the back if it is to save their butt. There is very little structure and process, training is a minimal. New ideas and processes are hard to implement due to lack of coordination, and willingness to put in effort from many others. CEO has shipped many jobs to India, and planning on outscoring many more (post closing, shipping, etc). A new LOS is attempting to be put in place, this will also help reduce the number of Ops staff needed, so more layoffs are in the future (Although it doesn't work as well as intended). They have and are being sued by main former employees as well. It's easier to just avoid CMG all together. The higher rated posts are done purposefully to hide the more negative ones, mainly by marketing. After a negative review, there will be a slew of positive ones.
