Pros

Since the intelligence level of most managers is well below industry standards, it's easy to stand out. The equipment is modern and the facilities are top-notch.

Cons

There are a core group of managers / decision makers that have been with the company since its inception. If you are not one of those individuals, you are considered an outsider and ostracized. Executive management are used to being the "big fish in a small pond" - but they have no concept of industry best-practices; or, methods of operations inherently different than what exists in their limited world. Most (existing) mangers are small-minded and myopic. The CEO is not involved and trusts the COO to manage the day-to-day operations. Unfortunately, the COO is not very bright and is almost as neat as she thinks she is. Her ego and lack of real world experience are the primary causes of this company's dysfunction. Benefits are extraordinarily expensive.

Pros

I have spent more than 3 decades in the mortgage industry, CMG is definitely in the top 3 mortgage companies I've worked for. Ops is lightning quick, compensation is solid, the product variety is the best I've seen including amazing proprietary programs, benefits are reasonable, there really isn't anything more I could ask for. Every aspect is at least good, if not world class!

Cons

None I can think of

Pros

There are a ton of opportunities to innovate and build industry-changing technologies. We have a great product team and a great engineering team, so the possibilities for my team and me are endless. We're also serious about using AI across product management, BSA work, QA, and engineering. It's part of our culture, and the transformation is being led directly by our technology leaders, which shows they're hands-on and lead by example. You won't find many places where a top leader is this invested in transformation and in the details, and that's both encouraging and energizing for our team. On the business side, there's a lot of flexibility and support for our sales and fulfillment team members. Ideas are heard and implemented no matter who they come from. Our leadership team is humble, and they genuinely care about and understand their business. They've been very welcoming and have taken the time to help me understand their business needs so I can deliver the right solutions. CMG believes in top-notch customer service and in offering a comprehensive suite of products that most other companies don't have. The culture here is great and genuine, and I'm very glad I made the choice to join CMG.

Cons

Opportunity to standardize process and create an enterprise fulfillment strategy, currently in the works and planned for the immediate future.
