Aside from the CEO, the leadership at CMG is atrocious. Managers are terrible at responding to emails and employees need to fight tooth and nail for every penny, including raises and bonuses. Nepotism is rampant, and the human resources department is inept. The most employee recognition you will ever receive is a token so you can order company swag from their online store. There are little to no growth opportunities, and the compensation is extremely low compared to the competition. Many hourly employees work off the clock because their managers refuse to approve overtime, and HR turns a blind eye to it. When it comes to layoffs, the most you will get is two weeks' severance, regardless of how long you've been there (unless you're a manager). The company is extremely top-heavy and favoritism is blatant. Some loan officers get whatever they want from the executive management team while others are left struggling.
