Pros

CMTA is easily the best place I have ever worked. Right now you are thinking maybe I'm someone from CMTA's HR trying to pump-up their reviews on Glassdoor. No, I'm a real former employee speaking the truth. I have a non-MEP consulting background; I've traditionally worked mostly with non-engineers. Being at CMTA and seeing what a company full of highly intelligent, and just good people, can be was amazing. The HR guy / CFO is like a "dad" figure in the company; he really cares about the people. Just about everyone at CMTA does actually. Benefits were good, the office environment was nice, the work was interesting, and it was a family atmosphere. Much of the pay came from profit sharing. 20% of profits went to the owners. 80% went to the employees. There are a few big owners, but lots who own 1% or 2%. I came from a non-MEP background and things just didn't work out like we thought they would. I have no hard feelings though; they treated me extraordinarily well. They told me that if they ever have the need for my skills I can come back. Given the opportunity I would return to CMTA in a nano-second.

Cons

The building is extremely energy efficient. As such, there is minimal ventilation in the bathrooms. After thinking long and hard that is the worst can I can come up with.
