Pros
Decent Benefits, especially 401(K). They have a pretty good underwriting training program. The company is a well known name in the commercial insurance industry. It depends on your office location and direct manager, but the company was generally OK with time off and benefits, and did invest in their employees with training opportunities.
Cons
The main issue with the company is constant executive change and the resulting lack of vision that entails. The current CEO was brought on 2 years into my tenure and soon embarked on significant changes in both the structure of of the organization and underwriting changes as well, and also creating a much more micromanaged employee experience. After his contract expires in 2017, there will be another who will probably again make some fairly significant changes.
