Pros
The company is moving in the right direction overall in terms of following a business plan that is leading to an A rating which should translate into more revenue. There are pockets of very good people that work here within IT.
Cons
Company decided to raise the white flag on overall IT competence and outsourced development and QA activities to a 3rd-party company in a managed services environment. IT department still has much maturing to do. Many people, even within IT, don't understand IT and are not innovative.
