      Small ratio better student and teacher. Teachers are provided with resources to maximize opportunities to reward student behavior. Opportunity to write curriculum

      Cons

      Teaching is not a priority. Clinical care if students trumps instruction. To much time spent :/ a academic block. Special elective teachers are insufficient to provide adequate opportunity.

      Pros

      Important, vital work in the community. Amazing co-workers. Strong sense of purpose in the work. Excellent benefits package and generous PTO.

      Cons

      Upper management is very disconnected from the reality of working in community. Middle management are in meetings / trainings all day long and are not readily available to support the team as needed. No room for growth. No merit based bonuses or pay raises, only cost of living adjustments that cap at 3%.
