Pros
It's good money when they have the routes for you. There is a lot of local runs, so your home quite a bit. And they do guarantee you 40 hours a week. They give a $1,500 sign on bonus to whoever you recommend and yourself as well.
Cons
You working a tentative on call schedule, meaning you have to call in everyday to see if there's a loan. You don't have a set schedule you can in on Monday and have a start time of 6 am but have no for the next shift, the turn around and have 1 am run to S.F. it seems to me that if you've been on the job for more than 5 years then they start to show you a little love. All the senior drivers complain about hours and since the bids are based on seniority they will boot you off of your run they want it. The senior drivers get first crack at all the runs. The benefits SUCK pay way to much and get so little.
